Frequently Asked Questions
My team and I are very pleased to introduce to you the Frequently
Asked Questions section on our newly designed website. We hope
that this section helps you answer many of your questions and
allows you to explain to your clients some of the logic behind
our Food Programme.
There are many diets, theories, eating plans and nutrition
plans abound. All of these are probably accurate in relation
to certain individuals or people within specific groups i.e.
Blood group diets, Anti-Candida, High Protein, Atkins, etc…however
all this mixed knowledge is irrelevant when it comes to the
RejuvaDetox concept as it fails to take into account the metabolic
effects and the plethora of benefits that the Ultimate Detoxifying
Machine (UDM) provides to all body systems.
Unless you are a very disciplined individual, the majority
of people have emotional attachment to certain food groups
which can make it difficult to stay on a any food programme.
The RejuvaDetox Food Programme takes your client from half
detox, to full detox and back to half detox again and is different
from all other Food Plans on the market today.
The RejuvaDetox Food programme is designed to build the body
up to 110% optimum nutrition during week 1 and then deeply
purge the body of negative toxins in weeks 2 and 3 to then
rebuild again in week 4.
FOOD PLAN FAQs
Q1 Why is beef allowed on the RejuvaDetox menu?
A1 With modern
day health concerns, beef can be replaced with the following
proteins: Fish is always preferred over chicken, next is
organic chicken or turkey breast. Lamb however, is the ultimate
choice as it cannot be grown in captivity and must be fed
from the land.
Q2 Is Iceberg Lettuce a sound choice for your salad?
A2 Although
it does contain fiber better choices are organic dark green
leafy variety i.e. Anigula, Rocket, Romaine, Spinach
Q3 Why do we say no cheese, milk or nuts on the programme
and then include some in certain recipes?
A3 There are two reasons
why we allow for certain ingredients: one is that we do not
want the body to go into stress during full detox and two
is that we do not want to make our clients feel deprived on
the programme.
The fact is that dairy is used in excess in most cultures
and by allowing a sprinkle of parmesan or a little bit of mozzarella
or some evaporated milk, we are less likely to shock the system
and to keep healthy mucus flowing through the body. This eases
the client into the vegan portion of the programme.
Q4 Which rice is the most acceptable choice when on the RejuvaDetox
Programme?
A4 If your client is already eating white rice then
it is best to upgrade to brown rice. If the client doesn't
eat rice at all, white basmati is recommended because it
cooks quickly and contains greater nutritional value than other
white rice. Towards the end of the last week, clients can add
wild rice, red rice and other rice varieties for more texture
and flavor.
Q5 Which teas are allowed on the programme?
A5 Generally, no
green tea are allowed because they contain caffeine, no decaf
coffee is allowed because the majority of decaf coffees and
teas are subject to a chemical to extract caffeine. In some
schools of thought, they are believed to be carcinogenic.
Q6 Is
black pepper allowed on the programme?
A6 No, black pepper
has a tendency to irritate the bowel.
Q7 Can carbonated water be used while on the programme?
A7
No, gas bubbles slow digestion and the objective of RejuvaDetox
is to speed up digestion.
Q8 Are peas and sweet corn allowed on the programme?
A8 Yes,
as long as they are fresh, not tinned or processed.
Q9 Are bananas allowed on the programme?
A9 Yes, bananas are
allowed on the programme in moderate quantity. Day 9, week
2 recipe actually incorporates Bananas. Bananas should be
removed from the food plan if a client is pre-disposed
to fluctuating blood sugar levels.
